After a lengthy rehabilitation he recovered well, but unfortunately he was one of a small percentage of horses who herniate after colic surgery. Kleng had a second surgery last month and is doing well. It is the least we can do for the horse who has given countless hours of delight and therapy to hundreds of riders for 14 years. Kleng has been the "rock" for the NWTRC riders over the years. Along with offering physical and emotional support, he has taught horse handling and riding skills to a wide range of riders with disabilities.
