even when decoding files compressed with LPC?

I would expect FLAC__lpc_restore_signal() to take a good
chunk.  it is also a prime candidate for optimization since
it is mostly a simple multiply-accumulate loop and might
benefit from the MCF5249's eMAC unit.

I think the gnu assembler (gas) even supports coldfire as
a target, so if you were to write an assembly version of
FLAC__lpc_restore_signal() and donate it to the FLAC project
it could go in the official sources which we would maintain.
