We've just sold two projects on FP8, the first because of it bitmap rendering capabilities, and the fact that we could use bitmap fills to stretch bitmap textures on 3D surfaces.
Recently we've been using cacheAsBitmap, and also custom bitmap caching methods to massively increase the speed of animation.
