Flash/Flex + Coldfusion + Flash/Flex Remoting.

Coldfusion has a Flash/Flex gateway built in.
CFML is just a scripting layer for J2EE, so Java integration is peanuts.

Coldfusion 8 beta is currently available from Adobe labs if you want to see/try 
the new stuff.
