It is. That is the chipset causing the most problems. -Tim -----Original Message----- From: Alfred Green [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, January 10, 2011 2:06 PM To: Tim Ellison Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FlexEdge] Problem upgrading to 2.0.16 / F1500 On 1/9/2011 4:25 PM, Tim Ellison wrote: > You need to download this document and read it first. > http://support.flex-radio.com/Downloads.aspx?id=356 > > Then download the driver patch kit > http://support.flex-radio.com/Downloads.aspx?id=355 > > Then do steps 1, 2, and 5 listed in the troubleshooting guide. All is working now. 1 & 2 had no effect, but step 5, the custom DLL, fixed the problem. As you suspected, I did not have the BIOS option for step 3 on this machine. I did try step 4 by going through a USB hub, but that had no effect. It looks like my USB chipset is Intel 5 series / 3400, if that is of any interest. Just had a CW and a couple of PSK31 contacts on 40, so all is well. Next up is to checkout the transverter interfaces, but I don't expect any problems. Another example of the superb level of support for these rigs. 73 Alf NU8I Scottsdale AZ DM43an _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
