It is.  That is the chipset causing the most problems.

First off, thanks for the help. All is working now.

1 & 2 had no effect, but step 5, the custom DLL, fixed the problem.

As you suspected, I did not have the BIOS option for step 3 on this machine. I 
did try step 4 by going through a USB hub, but that had no effect.

It looks like my USB chipset is Intel 5 series / 3400, if that is of any 
interest.

Just had a CW and a couple of PSK31 contacts on 40, so all is well. Next up is 
to checkout the transverter interfaces, but I don't expect any problems.

Another example of the superb level of support for these rigs.
