Hey !  Hamvention is an Ohio tradition.  We need to keep it in Ohio.
Certainly they could find a location in Dayton.

If that didn't work they could always hold it at the VFW in Defiance, Ohio. (o;

I would guess that the only reason that it is still held there is tradition and a good old boy network. I have no idea what the fees are to hold it at Hara and I'm sure a better facility would add to the cost, but I imagine most hams would not mind a somewhat higher admission fee along with the vendors.
