On the last item I was thinking of reworking a 12V PS with a voltage

I use a common TV antenna splitter to split output to the radios. You
need to drop a few dB anyway, and the splitter will do this. I would
try two 12V wall-warts in series to get 24 V, or just add another
wall-wart to your existing supply to service the Rb std unless
current requirements prohibit.
