Subject: [FlexEdge] External frequency standard

Picked up in Dayton a Rubidium Atomic frequency standard and need to hook it
up. My F5K user manual specifies the level of the input signal, but not the
type.
 1. What is recommended Squarwave or Sinus?
[Tim] Sinusoidal
 2. What is the impedance of the F5K input?
[Tim] 50 Ohms
 3. Beside the F5K have a Flex-1500. What is the recommended way of hooking
both Flex radios up at the same time?
[Tim] A 10 MHz distribution amp with good isolation. See the 10-4 from DEMI
http://www.downeastmicrowave.com/PDF/10-4pd.pdf
 4. What are other users using for the 24V 2A PS?
[Tim] TRC power supplies

On the last item I was thinking of reworking a 12V PS with a voltage doubler.
Wonder what others have done.
[Tim] I thought about it, but decided on a separate 12v supply the 10 MHz
distribution amp, controller board
(http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/images/8/86/Rb-Normal_paper_20.10.09.pdf) and the
fans I user to keep the enclosure at a (mostly) constant temp. I use a 24VDB
bus for powering the LPRO-101
