Sshhh Chris. You'll give Greg funny ideas about raising the price.

But in all seriousness, I think most of us feel this same way.

I'm trying to put a 5000 with all the trimmings in our clubhouse's budget
this year. As many guys that come through our clubhouse to operate, I would
expect it would make even more sales for Flex.

Scott AC8DE

I just want to say thank you to Gerald and all the others that work at
Flex-Radio.
   I own both a 5000a and a 3000.
I feel that I have gotten more than I have paid for, each update just
makes a great product better and more fun.
I can not think of any other product that I have owned which has
progressed and updated in this fashion without an added expense.

Subject: [FlexEdge] A note regarding today's Deep Impact Discussion

   Dear FlexRadio customers,

I believe it is appropriate for me to comment on today's discussion
regarding Deep Impact. We appreciate the desire of some in our community to
want to know the details of our product development plans.

Five years ago, FlexRadio was a very different company, primarily serving
the experimenters and early adopters who wanted to know every technical
detail. Today we serve a vastly different and much larger customer base
that demands product stability. We have made a concerted effort to adapt to
this new requirement.

The continued growth of our company has allowed us to make ongoing
advancements to PowerSDR. Some developments such as CW enhancements in v2.0
were derived from our Deep Impact research while others are based on ground
breaking work never before seen in amateur radio. Our new RF Tracking Notch
Filter (TNF) in v2.2 is just one example. Since the first of the year, we
have delivered three official releases, all with new features. We continue
to invest heavily in software.

Nearly a year ago, we made a policy decision to no longer make forward
looking statements. This means new features will be announced when they are
demonstrable and near official release. This policy is consistent with the
way virtually all consumer product businesses must operate.

We wish to thank all our loyal customers who help us to sell new radios
and thus allow us to develop those useful and cool new enhancements like
TNF.

   73,

   Gerald
