In what respects does the current Windows-based PowerSDR not run properly that moving to a Linux or MacOS version would fix? I'm not saying that the current PowerSDR is perfect: there are bugs to be fixed and features that people would like added, but moving to an OS-agnostic version isn't going to fix those bugs or add those features.

I am not a Windows fan, but if the software to accomplish a particular task runs only on Windows then I have to put up with Windows and its multitude of security holes -- and use a much more secure OS for email.

I've heard the espression "beating a dead horse" but this takes the
cake. File this Q & A session under "failure to compute". Wouldn't it
be much nicer just to anticipate rather than know? Like a birthday
present in the future?
