Jim,
I have been running Win8Pro (32bit, no touchscreen) and find that
itseems more stable than the WinXP that I was running on the same
hardware. Runs F56K,SDR-1000, OpenHPSDR, Logger32/N1MM and more...
I did add Classic Shell to give me a more familiar desktop environment.
I did have to search for a couple of drivers to support all my
hardware and I still have minor motherboard compatiblity issue ( Clock
drift ).
Coming from XP itis a step up, maybe not somuch from Win7.

Any satisfied Windows 8 users out there with and without a touchscreen?
The consensus (and sales) indicate a level of dissatisfaction, or is it just
due to tablets?
