Resending this email/posting, as I had not selected "plain text" in my
last; This may be a duplicate, if I had not needed to make this assumed
correction... Sorry; -Mike-

Thank you for your reply, Darryl! I do LIKE how Win-7 operates!
But again, which OS will offer the least "workload" for PowerSDR???
Your words of .NET 4.5 is interesting.
I recall having to download ".NET-Something" in order to make XP-SP3
run PowerSDR.
- Is this ".NET 4.5" something that is NOT in XP-SP3?
I do not have Win-8 available, but I could consider...
Does Win-8 "run" faster than Win-7???
Would Win-8 result in a LOWER "% usage" than Win-7?
Would Win-7 result in a LOWER "% usage" than XP?
- Again, my ONLY consideration is the "% usage" of PowerSDR!

Personally I would go with Windows 7. XP is at end of life therefore
FlexRadio should not feel under any obligation to support XP as there
is many features with .NET 4.5 that would make PSDR better and
faster. Personally I would go with Windows 8. It boots very quickly.

I am in the process of installing Boot Camp on a 2.8 Ghz i5
equipped iMac.
I have the choice of installing Windows XP-SP3, or Windows 7.
My ONLY CONSIDERATION is the workload, or the speed of either OS.
In other words, WHICH OS WILL SHOW THE LOWEST CPU % with PowerSDR?
(XP installation is under way at this moment, but I can easily
change to 7.)
Thank you! 73; -Mike- KØJTA
