I've used CWSkimmer for a long time.
CWSkimmer settings
Softrock-IF
CW Pitch 600Hz
Audio IF 9600
Sampling Rate of 192kHz
WDM Sound Driver
Left/Right = I/Q
and of course PSDR 'SR' is disabled.

Whether Dxing of Contesting I find clicking on a PSDR panadaptor or the CWSkimmer waterfall to put me on the station I wish to call.

It is working perfectly here with the 5k. Don't know what's up with the

Thanks, my main interest is in a 5000 which I will buy in a few weeks, using
a loaner 1500 at the moment. I will certainly want CW Skimmer to function
well with a 5000.

Andy,

I just did a test here and with the 5k and 2.6.4 I had to set the IF to 8400
to get synchronized. Not sure what is going on here, this is new. Will be
testing further tomorrow. Thanks for bringing this up and sorry you had to
beat your head against it :)

Returning to this topic after a week break to rest my brain. I tampered
with the "IF audio" setting in CW Skimmer. After trial and error, I now
have CW Skimmer and PowerSDR aligned , the IF Audio setting that works is
4500 Hz instead of 9600 Hz. I have no idea why, nor any idea what issues
changing it will cause, but my skims are aligned now.

I have got PowerSDR and CW Skimmer working together, the frequency
displayed in PowerSDR is the same frequency in the main display of CW
Skimmer. However a CW signal nicely centered in PowerSDR does not
show in the CW Skimmer waterfall at all. CW signal DO show in
Skimmer's waterfall, but not ones heard in PowerSDR's audio. When CW
Skimmer lists a CQ call in Call List, it is about 20 Khz off from
PowerSDR. I Googled this issue and found some folks with similar
issues in 2011. VAC settings were suspect at that time but I did not
see a solution , some said the issue went away when VAC was updated to
a new version. I am using the latest version and have VAC set up
identical to the Flex Knowledge Base screenshots on using CW Skimmer.
I note with interest the fact that CW Skimmer has a Frequency
Calibration option that is grayed out when I use PowerSDR. .

Anyone have an idea or two on where to start?
