Jerry,

Glad to hear you got it working, Think I forgot to put the modified project file into the source delta zip which is probably what caused you the grief trying to get the code to see the TypematicButton class. Oops. The diff2 file is not needed to build, it's just a listing of the changes.

BTW -- I never got the note at the bottom of this chain, and did not see it on the mailing list. Don't know if the glitch is on my end or your.

Regards,

Bill,

I got the source code for the new filter controls working. The "TypematicButton.cs" file required me to insert a new class and then install the TypematicButton.cs into it. Works fine now, a great improvement, Thanks.

Bill,

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I have been trying both the source and binary versions of your new filter system. The binary one works fine and is a pleasure to work with. It seems to work much more like I desire and results in a very flexible, easy to control system. The source code version has not worked out so well. I guess it maybe that I do not know how to install it. I keep getting build errors. I replaced the 1.3.4 console.cs and console.resx files with the ones you sent, and replaced the file in the CAT folder with the one you sent and placed the TypematicButton.cs file in the PowerSDR folder. I did not use the diff2.out file. It's the TypematicButton.cs file which gives me the errors. Perhaps this file should go somewere else. I get an " error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'TypematicButton' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)"

I have been working at two items which would seem desireable on the SDR. The first one I have added to mine. It is my call letters being placed on the front panel of the SDR. This one was easy, I just placed them in the code. It would be better to have them in a dialog box under the setup tab. This way everyone could enter thier own call letters. The other item is to have the band buttons memory steps progress up with the the left_click and down with the right_click. This is not so easy. Anyway it keeps me busy.
