These 2 usb sound units are recommended for the SDR. What's the drawback to these 2 units? Can I use phone and cw with these? I'd like to try the SDR1000 on my laptop. My SDR is arriving on Thursday. Interestingly enough, on the Soundblaster website, it lists the Extigy under products and not the MP3+, but in their store, one can only buy the MP3+(39.95).
