How well does that external sound card works? Is it not a 16 bit
device? I love how the specification part of the site is nothing but
a marketing mouthpiece, lot's of superlative adjectives but no hard
numbers. I have two of those devices but have not tried them at all.
Links will have a much better chance of not breaking up if pasted

Subject: [Flexradio] SoundBlaster Extigy and MP3+
These 2 usb sound units are recommended for the SDR. What's the drawback to
these 2 units? Can I use phone and cw with these? I'd like to try the
SDR1000 on my laptop. My SDR is arriving on Thursday. Interestingly enough,
on the Soundblaster website, it lists the Extigy under products and not the
MP3+, but in their store, one can only buy the MP3+(39.95).

I fail to see why doing the same thing over and over and getting the
same results every time is insanity: I've almost proved it isn't;
only a few more tests now and I'm sure results will differ this time ...
