Hmmm... That's an intersting thought -- I had noticed the cpu usage was a
bit higher that before, now around 30% (it was down around 12 - 17% on the
old motherboard).  I was wondering if this is the result of switching from a
reasonably high-end video card (with lots of on-board memory) to an on-board
video processor, making the CPU work harder.  The old motherboard had an AGP
slot, the new one does not.  I could try switching to a PCI video card.
I'll certainly give the priority boost a try.
