Hmmm... That's an intersting thought -- I had noticed the cpu usage was a bit higher that before, now around 30% (it was down around 12 - 17% on the old motherboard). I was wondering if this is the result of switching from a reasonably high-end video card (with lots of on-board memory) to an on-board video processor, making the CPU work harder. The old motherboard had an AGP slot, the new one does not. I could try switching to a PCI video card. I'll certainly give the priority boost a try.
