Since I am interested in using the memory database for logging and later 
using the data,  I gave a test to  your program and while a bit late I 
want to give my comments, just to help other potential users:

1. The SDR CAT control ID should be set to SDR-1000. Kenwood type IDs, 
sometimes used for compatability with other external programs are not 
recognized.
2. The SDR CAT port can be set to anyone available.  This is the other 
side of the virtual patch cord provided by VCOM what must be set to port 
6 in this version.
3. The frequencies must be entered in Mhz, real numbers. The decimal 
separator must match the one provided by the OS internationalization, 
such the decimal pont in USA and comma in my case.

I like the idea and the implementation and I find it useful for those 
interested in not missing the scan capabilities, and as you pointed 
before, it can grow in functionality while remaining a compact accesory.
