With at least the 1.8.0 level, there's a little glitch I've noticed that might also be related to another recent thread. Sometimes, when I've just turned the rig on, I find the receive is attenuated an extra 20 dB or so somehow. It actually looks, visually, like a good deal, because the noise floor is down 20db. To clear it, all I have to do is transmit, however briefly. The noise floor comes right back up to normal after that.
