SVN 1755 seems to not freeze the console when I in a senior moment
forget
and press the mic PTT while in DIGL/DIGU with VAC engaged on Digital SSTV.
Now, I wonder if there is a way to when the mic PTT is engaged to
disable
VAC and return to normal voice mode operation, complete with all the speech
processing etc., for the duration of the "chat" transmission, at which time
it would switch back to DIG?
FYI, I have received many compliments on the SDR-1000 on Digital SSTV.
Many
are amazed at the flat spectral response when in the digital modes. I am
using EasyPal (DRM) and the flex gets very high marks on signal quality from
EasyPal (61%) in less than ideal band conditions and attic antennas (40M).
