Add me to the list of those experiencing this. I experience this occasionally also. However, let me add: I often find that when the receive comes back and seems dead, that if I listen carefully, and there is a strong station on the other end replying, I will actually hear his signal very weakly. I momentarily trip the VOX or PTT and the receive is back to normal levels.
