I do have the office suite loaded but it is not running. I am running symantec endpoint protection but that has been running for four months without issue, I do not run email nor any terminal programs. The PC is a Dell E521 with an AMD dual core 3600+ processor, and 4gb of memory and pretty much dedicated to running with the F5K and nothing more. Right now it appears when I run DM780 with HRD I experience the occasional high DPC (12000us) which causes the rx to stop. If I just run HRD without DM780 it seems ok. If I run MixW it seems ok. I thought perhaps it was the newest upgrade to HRD/DM780 (1901, sp4) but I rolled back to version 1897 and still experienced the problem. Last night I ran msconfig and disabled everything I could and rebooted but still experienced the problem with DM780. I will try F8 and see what is does.

Now I don't run a lot of other common programs on these three (no email, no Microsoft Office, just Open Office which seems ok) .. Sounds like you have some other program that is causing the high DPCs (Delayed Procedure Calls) which can have a big impact on the operation of your computer.. Norton Internet Suite can really hurt the performance, along with any program that needs to make a internet connection, like emails, terminal programs.. Also drivers, I heard that some of the video drivers have been hosing up some systems.. To boot up without starting all services is hitting the "F8" right after the BIOS POST and before the Windows startup window. 73, Dudley WA5QPZ Don wrote: > After doing a rollback to Friday, I was still getting the rx shutting > down.
