some were reporting a change in Sample Rate and then Correction to preferred rate but I wasn't

I was curious as to why I did not see this action.
Closed PWSDR
Opened the new Beta Driver
I could not change the Sample Rate from my preferred setting of 192kHz.
I found that having CWSkimmer open cased the Sample Rate selection option to be 'locked'. CWS was set to 192, SoftRock, and the Signal I/O device was the FlexRadio Audio.

Closing CWSkimmer allowed the Sample Rate option to become enabled and available for change.

Now the SR change in the Beta that other reported also occurred on my system.
I was just curious. Usually I'm the one with anomalies. LOL

As long as the sampling rate (SR) returns back to the original SR when you start PowerSDR, then you are experiencing the expected behavior of the new driver. If the SR does not return to its previous setting or your radio is initially off frequency when you hit the Start button in PowerSDR, that is the condition Eric needs to know about.

Exactly, same thing here.... it changes to 48kHz upon initialization and goes back to 96 kHz in my case as soon I hit the Start button in PowerSDR.
No big pain

I can confirm that when launching PowerSDR, the driver (note, not
PowerSDR
setting) changes to 48kHz upon initialization. This is a new
undesirable behavior with the Beta driver that we've reported. Note
that as soon as you start the audio stream (i.e. hit the Start
button), the sample rate will switch back to whatever the desired rate
is in PowerSDR.
