Good point. Some digi mode programs are better than others at generating AF without the harmonics leaking through. That is why I always use a TX filter that that matches the mode bandwidth + 20% for AFC shift for digital modes.

Using the panadapter on TX I can see the aliasing of the signals from my digital mode program. Granted they are down better than 70dB but it bothers me that they are there at all. I have taken to changing the TX filter to filter them out and improve the quality of my own TX signal. So pay attention to the panadapter on TX to analyze your own signal. 73 de Brian, WB6RQN/J79BPL _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
