A 25 amp Astron switcher should work well as a P/S. I'll let others comment on successful laptop configurations, as I use small PCs (like the Shuttle) as opposed to laptops.

The problem is that I cannot carry my 300# station effectively. So I will carry the F3K, buy a 12v supply for it, and need a laptop to drive it. What do you all recommend??? I need SSB capability (CW not a requirement because of the audience), so keeping cost down is an important consideration.... -- Dave Gomberg, San Francisco NE5EE gomberg1 at wcf dot com All addresses, phones, etc. at http://www.wcf.com/ham/info.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to telli...@itsco.com _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
