Thanks and I do have Process Monitor running. I've used it before. I
just didn't dig into it that far.

Performing a capture with Process Monitor for just PowerSDR may give some
pointers into where exactly this hold up is, then using
process Explorer to drill down into that process to see where the wait / delay
is occurring.
Process Monitor has a small learning curve for first time users, but once
mastered it can be a boon in cases like this.
