I never said or implied that transmit had to be restricted just to US band plans only.

This is only partly true, actually. No American company would be able to sell to foreign countries if that were true. It is important where you *operate* the radio - this determines which frequency range may be used. Production and logistics-wise this requires to have region-specific model variants that have specific firmware in them. Not easy, yes, but doable. Others do it, too! 73 Frank DG1SBG _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
