(Sorry, I know this is way off topic for Flex Radio however I am still trying to debug my no power out issue). :)
This is Canada and your swimming pool will freeze from time to time. Usually in the winter! :) That is the tarp and the leaves that collect there. I took these the week before CQWW. These are not 'too' hard to fly as they have gyros, accelermeters, etc. I just started a year ago (I'm over 50) and I had never flown anything in my life before. However, you WILL crash and break things. A company called Realflight makes a great simulator. The designers are here http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/MikroKopter My supplier is www.nghobbies.com in Canada who ships all over the world They aren't cheap, but they work well. If you are already flying some RC stuff, then you will need about $1000 (or less) CDN/US. It depends how many options you want. However, there are many cheaper solutions and you can read about them at: http://www.rcgroups.com/multi-rotor-helis-659/ However, the Mikrokopter is the best and most reliable. 73... mike va3mw On Mon, Jul 18, 2011 at 10:48 PM, Jim Jerzycke <kq...@verizon.net> wrote: > That's really neat! > > But, uh.....what's all the "stuff" in the swimming pool? > > 73, Jim > _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
