I have actually done exactly that, but with awesome resources and coworkers in large organizations. I could not imagine doing the great things that you do, even with the 3 active Microsoft OS's that you support. HRD/DM780 are just about the coolest amateur radio applications on the planet and I'm amazed and appreciate what you've built with a grass roots effort.
But supporting the various distro's gets a lot easier with the 2.6 kernel.
