Years of both 3000 and 5000A and never had a "frequency change" with either
and with all the PowerSDR changes. I use Paul's procedure which I think
has been recommended since day one or thereabouts.

That's interesting.
My PSDR always starts up where it left off, the settings do not change as
the others have described.
I also always shutdown the software before the hardware. (and vice versa)

I hope you are shutting down your PowerSDR software first. If you don't
it
will revert to the last settings you had when you exited the Setup menu.

My 5000A has done that since the day I've owned it. I have never
figured
out why sometimes it remembers where I left it when it was shut off,
and
sometimes it doesn't. Every version of Power SDR has done this. I've
always assumed it was something I was doing incorrectly, or some box I
neglected to check, but darned if I've been able to figure it out. I
always
stop Power SDR first, and then close the application
If there's a simple answer to this, I'd love to hear it. I've just
learned
to live with it.

Subject: [Flexradio] Band/ freq changes after shutoff
Folks, I noticed after upgrading to V.2.2.3 about a month or so ago,
that
the band and frequency changes from the previous operating session. When
I
fire up the next time, the rig is on a different band and freq...As an
example, I'm on 14.300 MHz and then shut down PowerSDR and turn off the
rig.
The next day the band and freq is somewhere else (ie:40 meters). I
believe
this behavior is pretty consistent.
Any ideas? Would resetting to factory defaults fix the anomaly?
