Well, I have two of them, in service, working FB.  They are not THAT much 
thinner than what they replaced.

... But I would not recommend using it as a step stool ;-)

I have one of those in a box downstairs, like David Bowie in The Hunger.  Look 
closely at the manufacturer's product page, and you'll see that the steel is 
.6mm thin, which is very very thin.   I never had thought about steel thickness 
until I bought that case.
