RFI can occur when there is an impedance mismatch betweeen the
transceiver and the antenna.  Coax acts like it's actually three
conductors....the center, inter shield and outer shield.  Ofter, RF
voltage feedback travels into the transceiver on the outer shield. 
Straight out of the ARRL handbook.  Usually more noticable on 10 meters
than on 80.  Solution.....tweek the antenna for less that 1.5:1 VSWR.
When computers are added to the equasion, RFI can be reduced with proper
groundinng and toroid cores.
