C'mon, Travis- a hundred bucks ain't even a 50 foot length of good coax.  
 
An awful lot of non-techie, non-IT guys use Flexes all the time.  If you need 
'personal assistance' to use some of the advanced interfacing with third party 
software,  you either have to be real nice, or pay for it.
