I have to agree. I'd also be interested in purchasing updates to PowerSDR if
they were available.

Why not charge for PowerSDR updates, like SmartSDR?  I have gotten a lot of
free updates since I purchased my first Flex radio about 6 years ago, and I
am happy for that.  But if future updates require a payment to Flex to keep
the code updated, I would certainly consider it.  The software is more
mature than SmartSDR, and I would rather do that than lose my shirt and have
to give away my Flex 5000 and then fork over $$$$ for a 6000 series rig.
