I think it should be pointed out _explicitly_ that you _have_ to start your engine(s) manually - at least as long as you use JSBSim. I tried --prop:/engine/running (or similar) exactly as proposed by David Megginson a couple of weeks (?) ago. This one doesn't work for me (CVS of last thursday), so I don't have any clue how to start FlightGear with my (the airplane's) engines running. I consider this as a required option for novices - although I might be proven to be wrong. Anyway I'd dare to suggest making running engines a default on startup - knowing that this might be an excellent start for a flame war ;-))) I'm quite interested in this topic because Michael Basler and I are required to have precise information on this for putting the right phrases into the "Getting Started" manual. Thanks, Martin. -- Unix _IS_ user friendly - it's just selective about who its friends are ! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
