Hi All,

I've finally switched to fgfs 0.9.10 today. I've already got my F4 up
and running under the new system.

If you'd like to check it out its at http://www.jentronics.com/fgfs/ ,
The 2D panel requires Dave Culp's T38, I think...

Most of the 3D instruments are there, although some need work. The
airspeed (mach) indicator doesn't work right. Replacing that will be my
next project. Along with the warning light panel and gear/flap
indicators. And more accurate fuel flow. The fuel gauge on the panel
only reads internal fuel (like the real F-4).

The model is configured with 700 gallons of external fuel, so it takes
awhile for the fuel needle to move off of full. If anyone wants to do a
serious cross country flight tanks 2&3 can hold an additional 320
gallons each.

The DME readout on the HSI is currently hard-coded to TACAN, The course
needle reads off of VOR1. I'd suggest getting my TACAN Frequency
patches so the TACAN channels work right:

http://www.jentronics.com/fgfs/carrier_nav.dat.gz
(these two files drop into $FG_ROOT/Navaids)

If anyone would like to jump in and remodel the wings and fix up the UV
maps so we can start texturing let me know... Or perhaps fixing up the
FDM and key maps so the dragchute (a.k.a braking chute) functions...

Ron
