I have been unable to find any way to turn on cockpit area lighting. I found nothing on the subject in the documentation.
I tried looking around in the c172 and c182 aircraft models and didn't find anything. I tried fiddling with some of the suggestively-named variables without success. Is it possible that the aircraft models do not (yet) implement this feature? It is kinda hard to fly the aircraft properly with no lighting. For example, good pilot procedure calls for checking the position of the flaps on occasion ... and you can't do that if it's too dark to see the knobs and indicators. So ... what's the status?
