Looking at that patch, it seems entirely typecast stuff. Those are warning conditions; I don't see any changes that would affect the generated code. Sure, it would be good to get plib to fix their typing conventions, but I can't see why it would stop it from building, and in for the purpose of our release the distinction is meaningless.
