I submitted an new VOR/DME model to the FlightGear Scenery Object Database. It
is based on an on-field VOR in the US.

FlightGear only has one VOR model. There are many different VOR stations
around the world.
Would a developer be interested in adding a way to selected different models
for each VOR. Any VOR that does not have a model selected should fall back to
a default model. If a VOR selects a model that can't be found, it should fall
back to the default model. That way people that don't care about VOR models
wouldn't have to download them.
That also brings up the question. What should the default VOR model look like?
Considering most FlightGear users start at KSFO. I suggest the VOR station at
KSFO be used as the default. This would help make a good first impression with
new users.
Doe any body have a picture of the VOR at KSFO? I have not been able to find
one.
