Randy,

There are thiose better qualified than I to answer your query, but.

First why are you using MSVC8? MSVC9 is available as a free download.

Second, MSVC8 stuff in CVS is unmaintained, so these error should be
expected, but we keep MSVC9 solution and project files pretty much up to
date. I would recommend that you get MSVC9, and try those.

Subject: [Flightgear-devel] 6280 link errors starting with sgdMakeCoordMat4

I'm trying to compile FG 1.9.1 using msvc 2005. I started MSVC 8 from the
icon in the first folder:
FlightGear. (What is the icons in FlightGear\projects\VC8 for?) About 33
minutes into building I start
getting 216 errors: LNK 2019 unresolved external symbol void__cdecl
sgdMakeCoordMat4 followed by 286 errors: LNK2001 unresolved external symbol
sgDebugPriority logbuf::logPriority. I get as total of
6280errors, all LNKxxxx.
sgdMakeCoordMat4 is in sg.h and I assume the sg object file in ..\plib
directory.. I tried putting "..\plib"
and later "C:\FG\plib" in Additional Library Directories under Linker,
General on the FlightGear Property
Pages, but I keep getting the same errors.
