With ARM devices reaching over 512 MB of RAM(including end user devices)
and microSDs with over 16 GB of space available, I wouldn't say those
are the limiting factors... I do doubt the ability of the GPUs in SoCs
being able to run FG. Theoretically it's possible(OSG supports OpenGL
ES), but in practice playing a slideshow simulator isn't something
anyone would enjoy.
