Hi Olivier

What I missed is a common source and dated publication of this changes,
the origin source files submitted by contributors to the mapserver.

I created a small script to extract changed airports from every apt.dat,
to single airport files. Running this script on mapserver apt.dat and
current xplane apt.dat would make it possible to make "diffs by airport"
to check. So one can evaluate this airports now.

Here is the script
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/tools/apt-extractor/
and here you find example output (from todays list)
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/tools/apt-extractor/#apt-extractor%2Fextracted

Gives 263 single airport files to verify/compare with 850 data.

Cheers, Yves
