Hi all

Now one can "see" what probably would happen to FlightGear submissions
collected on the mapserver when we start to use current xplane apt.dat:

1) Here you find the changes collected on mapserver apt.dat
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/#git%2Ftools%2Fapt-extractor%2F032012-mapserver

2) Here you find what comes up for this airports from current xplane apt.dat
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/#git%2Ftools%2Fapt-extractor%2F032012-xplane

3) Now when you want to see the diff you can browse this directory:
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/tools/apt-extractor/032012-diff/

Then you choose a file like "EETN_850.dat" in this diff folder and click
on top right on "diff" to the last commit. Now you can compare what is
coming up from the mapserver apt.dat and what will come in by current
xplane apt.dat. Example:
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/diff?spec=svn038ed45b210b19481bee8c1bf2d97044910ff5a1&r=038ed45b210b19481bee8c1bf2d97044910ff5a1&format=side&path=/tools/apt-extractor/032012-diff/EETN_850.dat&old_path=/tools/apt-extractor/032012-diff/EETN_850.dat&old=9366cde3894c295e64783c184a06b12d79e19352

These airports are still missing in xplane apt.dat (or whatever reason).
Needs to be checked and submitted to Robin Peel again probably?
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/tools/apt-extractor/missing-in-xplane.txt

Now all the others have to be checked/compared manually I think. See 1),
2) and 3). It is not that much work, I guess most of the airports comes
in a better state from xplane, but this has to be verified of course.

Cheers, Yves
