You can follow the (slow) progress of evaluation here:
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-world-scenery/source/browse/810-850-check-log.txt

Once this list has been "finished" the 810 airports worth to be
submitted to xplane database needs to be converted into 850 data format,
and then (re-)submitted to Robin Peel.

Help with this task is welcome anytime here. Can be done onlne,
evaluating a simple "diff" on googlecode, single airport side by side.
Every airport needs to be checked manually. You will need some skills in
xplane data definitions ... but these are documented well. I can also
help for quick overview, because with most data it is absolutely clear
which one is the more improved airport.

To repeat, target of this task is not to loose any contribution from the
last decade of custom scenery development and improved airports,
collected by Martin Spott. Most improvements have never come to xplane
database, so we will loose this data switching to newer xplane data. 810
data format will not be updated anymore chez xplane.

Cheers, Yves
