But I think it is important to include it in the base package. It's pretty
easy to fly, and anyone coming from an MSFS background will find it
familiar. It may not be sexy, but it is a pretty good platform for
learning about flying and the simulator. The key thing is that we don't
want to confuse users by offering different variations, some of which are
inappropriate for a first-time user. The high-res cockpit version that
displays upside down (presumably for a multi-machine environment) is a
classic example.

Very good point. I had forgot that some aircraft might not be GPL'd and
had wrongly assumed that the hangar page consisted of a subset of the CVS
aircraft. Completely wrong.
Out of interest, do we have any that are currently non-GPL?
