Hi Jimmy,
If you were to look closely at where the bulk of the cpu cycles and time
is spent within FlightGear, you would find that about 90-95% of the work
involves drawing the display. Because of this, there isn't a lot of
advantage to splitting the workload across multiple machines.
You can setup multiple displays and sync them over the network for a
'wrap around' view. This looks especially nice if you use projectors

(I should point out that these movies were made before we updated our
computer hardware in our sim lab, so FG ran pretty slow in visually
complex areas.)
