Hi Donn,

As I think someone already mentioned, the joystick button numbering differs 
depending on the OS; the number which may be printed on button itself is not 
necessarily the one reported to FG.

The joystick configuration files are designed to cope with this; check the 
config for the wingman-extreme-digital-3d for example.

The point is that although on your OS the button assignment may seem very odd, 
it very likely was/is entirely logical with the same stick on another OS.  
Your best bet is to check the button numbering as reported to your OS 
(js_demo might be helpful here) and add correcting os-specific entries to the 
configuration file.  Then submit it here, of course!
