I just did a quick search and and saw nvidia agp cards in the 5/6/7xxx series. I don't know if this means nvidia 8xxx series cards are PCI-E only, but if you dig around the nvidia web-site you should be able to find out. ATI cards, as mentioned by others, still have problems with OpenGL support in Linux although it looks like this will improve this year. It's a shame really because other than that, the ATI hardware is pretty good.
