Hello all, I have created a little application that uses libmtp to communicate with my Samsung T10 mp3 player. The app supports dropping files onto in order to upload audio and video files to the device.
What I would like to do to be able to copy files from the device (download) to my desktop using only DnD mouse events. I'm not quite sure how to do this. I'm thinking that I could read the file from the device into the clipboard on a FL_DRAG, then, while crossing my fingers, Konqueror would paste the contents of the clipboard as a file when I release the mouse button. :) But, more generically, how can I copy data from a FLTK app to some location on the computer using DnD mouse movements? I see this is fairly trivial when dealing with text, but what about raw data such as an image?
