I decided to work on the other functionality of the application, but now I'm ready to revisit this issue. I can successfully drag from fltk and drop into konqueror if I call Fl::copy() and Fl::dnd() during a FL_DRAG event (done once using a flag). However, if I call Fl::copy() and Fl::dnd() during a FL_RELEASE, Fl::dnd() returns 1 but nothing happens in the other application (konqueror in this case)? Is the problem that the DND operation is done since the mouse button isn't being held down?
